讲座摘要：Vanishing viscosity limit is one of the central topics in both the theory of fluid mechanics and the analysis of partial differential equations. In general it is expected to be true for Cauchy problem locally in time. However, as long as the time is global, the verification of such a theory is highly nontrivial and is thus open for most fluid systems. In this talk, we report our results on two dimensional incompressible viscoelasticity and MHD.

主讲人简介：蔡圆，香港科技大学博士后，博士毕业于复旦大学，师从杰出青年基金获得者雷震教授。博士期间曾在美国纽约大学Courant研究所访问一年，并受邀请分别于布朗大学、宾州州立大学进行访问并做学术报告。研究方向为流体力学中的偏微分方程，尤其是复杂流体方程组。在流体力学方程组整体解的粘性消失方面作出了重要的工作，在Comm. Pure Appl. Math.，J. Math. Pures Appl.和Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.等著名杂志上发表学术论文。
