School of physics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China In this presentation, I will introduce our recent works in the fields of cavity and waveguide quantum electrodynamics (QED). On the one hand, we studied the nonreciprocal quantum effects in cavity QED, including the nonreciprocal superradiant phase transitions and bundle emission. On the other hand, we investigated the chiral interaction induced perfect photon blockade effect in waveguide QED. We also will introduce our recent work regarding the exotic long-range interaction and the associating quantum many-body phases in topological waveguide QED system. Our works is of fundamental interest in expanding the fields of cavity and waveguide QED, and has potential applications in the on-chip quantum information science and quantum simulation of strong correlated matters.

吕新友,华中科技大学物理学院教授,博士生导师,国家自然科学基金“杰出青年基金”、“优秀青年基金”和湖北省“百人计划”获得者。主要从事腔量子电动力学(QED)和腔光力学等方面的理论研究。
